Staying on one’s meds has never been more urgent than it is right now, because we all feel lousy and maybe just a little … crazy … after the year and change we’ve just endured.

That’s why the PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Prescription Apps is such an important barometer of not only health in eCommerce, but just plain health. That’s a worthwhile pursuit in any year.

Without further delay, pop that pill and let’s go to the latest rankings.

The Top 5

Some brands seem to adhere to chart positions with the strength of barnacles. We see it again this month as GoodRX sticks at No. 1 (the late 2020 deal with Kroger may have helped), with SingleCare – Rx Coupons still at No. 2, and the RxSaver app not through with No. 3 just yet.

We mix it up a bit now as the CVS Caremark app climbs two spots to land at No. 4 this month, pushing the Publix Pharmacy app down a spot but keeping itself in the Top 5 another month.

The Top 10

The new edition of PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Prescription Apps has OptumRx down one spot to No. 6. Moving in the opposite direction the RxLocal app, rising two spots to claim No. 7.

Aforementioned KrogerRxSC shows a grocer’s reserve by staying put at No. 8. New at No. 9 is the Express Scripts app, rising one spot since we last checked in.

Capping things with continuity is the Clever Rx app, clocking in at No. 10 yet again.

That does it for this edition of Provider Ranking of Prescription Apps.
